Saturn’s enters the sign of Aries on February 13, 2026, at 7:12 PM ET and is there for two years.
In this post, I discuss an astrological aspect that defines the parts of life that will require attention over the next two years: Saturn’s ingress into Aries from today until April 13, 2028. I will explain how Saturn’s transit will impact each of us based on its position by house in our natal charts. As usual, you will need to know your rising sign or ascendant sign to best process this information. These suggestions do not take into account specific planetary placements in your natal chart, but are sound advice for how Saturn will express by the house he enters in your chart. I am calculating Saturn's transit based on the whole house whole sign house system.
I recommend you read my short introduction that illustrates a few key principles of Saturn and Aries; however, you can also skip to your rising sign here:

How does Saturn's energy express in the sign of Aries?
Saturn’s enters the sign of Aries on February 13, 2026, at 7:12 PM ET and is there for two years. Traditionally, Saturn is considered to be in fall in Aries, making it his least comfortable placement. This is because Saturn, by nature, is slow, ponderous, and builds form and structure from the ground up. We can achieve positive results with Saturn’s energy if we take our time, consider the part of life he is most impacting, make a plan to improve that part of life, then see the plan through by steadily building form and structures, and being persistent. Aries, on the other hand, loves to initiate projects, work fast and hard, and move on to the next thing; the ability to follow through on things is usually weak. Aries energy is also impulsive, undermining Saturn’s need to take time with endeavors and see them through to completion. Aries is new and original in its style of approaching life, while Saturn prefers the old guard and employing settled structures. Saturn is cold, Aries is hot. Saturn is slow, Aries is fast. Saturn restricts, Aries pushes outward through barriers. Saturn hardens, Aries melts. The planetary energy does not naturally express comfortably in almost any way in Aries, with perhaps that only exception being that Aries is inventive and Aquarius, Saturn’s air sign, is known for thinking outside the box and being quite creative. Both signs can produce inventors, though Saturn is not Aquarius, despite some energetic consonance.
On his own, Saturn can slow and restrict things – in these ways he throws up roadblocks, and people see him as a negative influence. He impedes action, favoring cautious progress through hard work and planning. It can feel hard to move forward and shine under Saturn’s dark blue rays. But like all of the planets, Saturn is just energy or vibration coming at us from the solar system. He sends only a certain amount of energy or vibration at a time. We have a choice – we can use the energy actively or sit back and let it impact us. This post gives you some ideas of how you can use Saturn’s energy in Aries best based on your rising sign.
Saturn is the great time clock of the “wandering stars.” Saturn’s transit through each sign of the zodiac takes approximately 2.5 years, so he gives us time to learn the lessons he wants us to learn based on his position in our natal chart. Saturn is a great teacher because he asks us to look at the part of life ruled by the house he is transiting and ensure that we are acting appropriately or responsibly in that part of life. I counsel my clients about using Saturn’s energy best by asking questions about what they might need to do in life based on the rulerships of the house in which Saturn is transiting. In this post, I am offering ideas for you about what questions to ask while Saturn is in Aries of the next couple of years. If you answer a question (you do not need to answer all of them - focus on those that are most relevant to you), it is best to make a plan, take things slow, and build up structures to help achieve your results. Even in Aries – or perhaps most especially in Aries – Saturn will want you to have a steady process in place that allows you to accomplish your end result over time, not in a rush.
Here are some ideas for the parts of life in which you can use Saturn’s energy in Aries over the next two years. Use your rising sign:
Aries | Taurus | Gemini | Cancer | Leo | Virgo | Libra | Scorpio | Sagittarius | Capricorn | Aquarius | Pisces

Saturn is in the 1st house of Ascendant for the Aries rising. Here the Aries rising person might ask: Do I want to make changes regarding how other people perceive of me? Do I want to take on any new or original roles in life? How is my impulsivity? How active am I, and is it impacting my health? Would I like to start a new era in my life – do something completely new? Are there any new ventures or adventures I want to undertake? Can I be a leader or pioneer in some field or part of my life? Can I do anything to increase my dynamic energy, the energy that makes me go out and initiate things in life? I am too conflict oriented – how can I change that? Do I need to work on tempering my temper – if so, what steps do I need to implement to make that change? Here, if you do not act in the realms mentioned above and do so in a well-planned, structured manner, there can be restrictions, blockages or tensions arising in defining how others perceive of you, starting new projects, taking on new roles in life, not being active enough, personal physical health. If you act impulsively in the above parts of life, you may see roadblocks arise or poor results.
Taurus Rising
Saturn is in the 12th house for the Taurus rising. Here the Taurus rising person might ask: Can I bring some new spiritual practices into my life, perhaps physical or devotional? Do I have space to myself when I need it, and if not, how can I make that space actively? How is my mental health and stability? Can I undertake any practices to stabilize my psychological and mental health? If you work in 12th house places, like hospitals, mental health facilities, or prisons, Saturn wants you to think of new or original ways to help the people around you, those you care for. If you live or spend time at ashram or temple, Saturn asks: how you can facilitate change in stagnant structures or start new projects? Here, if you do not act in the realms mentioned above, and do so in a well-planned, structured manner, there can be restrictions, blockages or tensions arising in spiritual work, work helping others who are in great need, psychological work, mental health, physical health. Saturn here can bring sudden confinement in 12th house places, so be careful! Take care of your mental and physical health with great attention. Saturn is in the 11th house for the Gemini rising. Here the Gemini rising person might ask: What can I do to help out in my greater community using my writing, communication or speaking skills? Can I contribute to any philanthropic or humanitarian projects, especially ones that help your local neighborhood, people with speech and communication deficits, grade school kids, reading and writing, equality in early childhood education, etc.? Do I want to spend more time with older siblings (if any), friends, or companions during this time? Can I engage in any activities teaching other people’s children? What do you want out of long term companionships? Do you want to attend more fun group events or plan them? Do you have any inventions that you might want to actually create or patent? Do you want to be a coach or mentor and, if so, how might that work?
This is a very nice space for this Saturn transit, though as with all of these, it can be modified by planets placed in this sign natally. Otherwise, you have less stress from Saturn during these years than some other rising signs might! Still, here, if you do not act in the realms mentioned above, there can be restrictions, blockages, slow downs, or tensions arising in relations with friends, humanitarian work, philanthropic work, work with groups, helping the greater community, helping or teaching other people’s children, planning big events.

If you are a performer, what can I do to please my audiences or make my performance new or more original to appeal to different audiences?
